Nycor was founded in 1957 and has been under the same ownership since 1963. The company name was Gopher Employment. Gopher was one of the founding search firms in the Midwest. Since that time, the company has grown through the years with its clients and now is a leader in contract and direct staffing.

Nycor currently consists of four distinct corporations known as The Nycor Group. Nycor now offers Contingent, Engagement and Retained Search Services, Contract and Contract to Direct Services, Consulting and In-House Design, and Volume Staffing solutions for its clients.

Our 48 years in the staffing and recruitment industry, offering both direct and contract services is unique in itself, and has given us a "first to market" type of head start in terms of not only attracting the best talent for our clients but for internal staff as well. We are respected by our clients for making not just the best technical match, but for providing candidates who fit our client's corporate culture.
