HOW TO: Work

No high school, college or university in America teaches a course on how to work. Here are the basic rules:

THINK

• What needs to be done?
• How many ways are there to do it?
• Which is the best, fastest, most efficient?

DECIDE

• Pick what seems to be the best method.
• Select an alternative method.
• Set a time limit for yourself.
• Make up your mind to finish what you start, no matter what.

ACT

• Think, decide and then get started.
• Work as though everything depends upon you.
• Check your work quality at regular intervals.
• Keep a positive attitude and never settle for less than you’re capable of!
